    How anyone can say the centre halfs played well is beyond me-they cant have been there .winnall looked injured and once that happened we were toothless up top. If ever a side was crying out for experience it showed there today -nyatanga oldest in squad but also most useless-pre season optimism already turned into season realism - we will be lucky to finish top half.

    Individually the defenders look sound, but collectively we look shocking. Inviting pressure and not doing the basics time and time again, much like we were under Wilson.
    The fact that we are still dilly dallying about in the transfer window and we haven't strengthened glaringly obvious positions will cost us any sort of promotion push. Another season of struggle and strife looms.

    Like the look of Roberts and Mawson but sadly without better Full Backs it will be to no avail.

    Reasonably happy with the 1st half display but the warning signs were there and we didn't learn.

    Awful, inept second half, culminating in a lack of effort to close players down resulting in being overwhelmed.

    The tell tale signs were there in the first half. Scowen had a torrid time trying to play as a right wingback. Davies pulled out some fantastic stops in the first half to prevent them from scoring.

    I'll say we looked decent in the first half. Impressed with Roberts, impressed with the Arsenal kid.

    Once they cottoned onto the fact that their winger could tear through Scowen playing out of position, it was a different game.

    There was plenty there to be positive about in the first half.

    They were effective down BOTH WINGS whereas we just tried ploughing through the middle all game. It worked after five minutes and it was a terrific goal but that was it apart from one poor effort from Winnall.

    There are only so many times you can get ripped to shreds down the flanks before u start conceding. As sure as night follows day.

    Oh and it was 14-1 to them on corners. All those big lads to aim at and CH overhit his one corner.
