Anyone know why the scaffolding is up at the Premier Inn at Town End? I was told that it's because the windows were put in the wrong way round with the UV filters been on the inside instead of the outside where they are supposed to reflect the sun's rays but are now trapping the UV rays inside and a lot of people are having to go home complaining of feeling unwell. Could this be true?
Only if each room has had a UV light source installed, and the inside of each window is actually covered with a UV-reflective mirror.... BTW UV light is mostly blocked by glass anyway (to allow UV light to pass you need quartz or some other material for the windows).
