Just had an asian sounding guy call me, said he was from Microsoft and that my computer had been infected with some virus.. he asked me to type eventvwr into my run window.... I asked him for his name and telephone number he gave me an asian sounding name and a 10 digit number ( I think they were his lottery numbers) I asked him 10 times if he thought that I was stupid... he ignored me everytime and finally the line went dead... THIS IS A SCAM do not be fooled into giving anyone who might try it on with you...
Have had em phoning for months Fu ck and off has them phoning back at a later date believe it or not.
Checked it out on google they clearly are doing this all mover the place.. you would think that the fraud squad or somebody would be able to track them down and sort them out.. barstewards
Had them phoning a few times I just say, "Why would someone from Windows be phoning me when I haven't got a computer?" Which sort of throws them a bit.
