BARNSLEY legend Neil Redfearn's battle to keep Scarborough in the Nationwide Conference could be thwarted by off the field problems.</p> The McCain Stadium side have been told that they must exit administration by May 31, 2006, or face automatic relegation from the Conference's top division. </p> League rules state that clubs cannot compete for three straight seasons in the Conference while in administration. Boro are currently in their second year in administration and have until May 31 to abide by the ruling. </p> Conference chief executive John Moules told BBC Sport: "They've until May to get out of it. It's in their court."</p> Boro, who currently have Reds youngster Rob Atkinson on work experience as well as a host of ex-Barnsley players on their books, are in the Conference drop zone.</p>
