Fans Champion PC invests some of his personal fortune to save his local football club from extinction. To show their apreciation of survival and reaching the second tier of the English leagues, and challenging against all the odds of this questionable organisation of the football league, the fans of BFC turn up in their thousands to show support for their saviour. Within 4 sesons of full houses, they are within sight of challenging for honors due to the abillity of securing the playing staff needed to achieve this.

The miners united will never be defeated?

    Thought not.

This is your team, your town and you will get the team the town deserves.

    Rant over

My cursor is hovering over the 'like' button. There is an uncomfortable sense to that.

not another its all the fans fault post

The thousands did initially show their support for the club despite most of the football being gash. We currently have a manager who constantly bleats about the limited resources he has, despite this being the reason he was appointed in the first place. He hits out at everything and everyone, and constantly overlooks players in his limited squad who are better than some of those on the pitch. The fact that he sees Wiseman as a leader and motivator on the pitch speaks volumes as to why we are in this current situation. I only hope that he soon sees the errors of his ways and we can move up the table. If not, it will be this manager and his team who willbe responsible for taking this club back 5-6 years not the fans.

What the hell as it got to do with the miners or any other occupation?

    Absolute *****

The club is being run and has been run like a corner shop. This mentality and the refusal to expand the ownership structure has led us here.

I think cryne has realised his time at the club is coming to an end and doesn't want to spend anymore of his own money bank rolling players that in a couple of months (fingers crossed) will belong to a new regime. Can you blame him? In my eyes the mans a hero and he never expected to be in charge this long. Attendances are down tickets are nearly 30 quid and were in the middle of a recession.

If he never expected to be in charge all this time why hasn't he done more to sell up before now?

    Don't believe the hype

takeover cant come quick enough .........if its going to happen

those of us that do go week in week out cant generate enough cash for the club and those who are running the club seem to have got to the point where they wont spend owt else..
a new owner with a bit of money is needed, then we can have some investment, because like those corner shops that never invested we'll either continue to limp onwards or we'll finish belly up with no fight left.

my own instinct at the moment is that takeover talks are still ongoing and mr cryne wont spend owt else because he's all abouts finished with the club.
