Don't know if it's been mentioned but what genius decided to have all Derby fans on one side and the barnsley fans on another? Jesus christ
Not sure went to Leeds - points failed so have to go back to Barnsley and try again tomorrow love Northern Rail
Anyone else read that title as Schwabisch Gmund away? I thought we were arranging a pre-season friendly with our twin town in Germany
Not sure if this is about before or after game? Was quite amusing passing the angry hordes of Rams at the station after the game anyway. They seemed not very happy at all…..
It's almost unavoidable down that part of the walk back to the train station because at some point the opposing fans have to essentially cross paths en-masse. When the police then restrict access to the station due to numbers, this causes a back log with fans of both teams jostling for position for both the station and a clearer walking route down the road and back into town. Only holding away fans back would help reduce potential conflict but I'd never endorse that as a strategy personally. Regarding events at Sheffield station, anyone who has regularly travelled back from midlands away games with a big crowd will know the kind of reception often received upon changing trains.
It said there was a bit of trouble with other fans.. Oldham going to Chessy and one other set going somewhere.
