    Thats a stupid judgement if that stands scientists in future will be forced to take the most extreme worst case possibilities or just not predict anything at all

    Stupidity in the extreme.

    What next? Prosecute the architects who failed to build structures that could withstand an earthquake, or prosecute the local government for not insisting on high enough standards of building regulations. Or maybe they can prosecute the priests in the area for not praying hard enough to God to prevent an earthquake occuring?

    An absolutely scandalous decision.
