I went to Coventry last night but my brother in law who lives the other side of Doncaster went to watch the Reserves. He said that without exception the attitude of the pros was shocking. Not one of them wanted to work/track back when we lost the ball. They were only interested in going forward and each of them tried to shoot/score at every opportunity even when there were better options available to them. He said all the scholars worked their socks off but they were over run and out numbered for most of the second half as Van Homoet, Leon, Butterfield, and Heslop all lost interest in the game. He said based on that performance it was no surprise that they were in the Reserves. He said that the goals were scored by Rigters, Watts, and Leon (one out of sixteen shots ain't bad!)
so adam not on score sheet if the pros that bad of an attitude why play them any of the young uns stand out
I didn't see the game as I went to Coventry. My brother in law did not single out anyone of the scholars. He said they all had a go and put in a good shift but were let down the the effort and attitude from the pros particularly in the second half.
