Taken From BBC... Scnuthorpe accept Crosby red card Scnuthorpe United will not appeal over the red card that Andy Crosby was shown during the 5-2 defeat at Blackpool, according to the club's website. Crosby, 32, will now serve an automatic one-match ban and will miss the Iron's FA Cup replay with Bury on Tuesday. The veteran defender picked up a straight red card for a professional foul in the 19th minute of the clash, when the scores were at 1-1. The centre-back signed from League Two rivals Oxford in 2004. HOW COME HE HAS ONLY GOT A ONE-MATCH SUSPENTION WHILE HOWARD HAS GOT A THREE MATCH ONE???
professional foul is a one match ban violent conduct gets you three. I certainly wouldn't claim that Howard's foul was violent conduct, but that's why he was red carded.
RE: professional foul is a one match ban It's B*ll*cks, foul yes but violent conduct my arse,Howard on radio sheff gutted that club not appealing, abart time we stud up to these ***** refs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RE: professional foul is a one match ban Richie stated that the video was inconclusive and therefore we would no have a chance of winning an appeal... surely the assessor saw it and it should be in his report.
RE: professional foul is a one match ban seen worse tackles go unpunished this season, refs a joke after wigan fulham game should have been struck off
I saw it on TV and it was very, very harsh to give a straight red. Late challenge..yes..yellow card. Deliberate..I dont think so. In my opinion Howards suspension could cost us points and susequently promotion. Cant see why Richtea is not appealing.
RE: I saw it on TV I must say I can't understand why we're not appealing. Is there only one angle of it too?
