openly encouraging Ronaldo to sign for Real, hardly surprising though, considering his new job. I think its a fair bet United will be starting the season without him.
I hope that Ronaldo signs for Real Madrid, but I just got to wonder WHY he wants to leave Man United right now. He's already the biggest star in the world right now (or do I just follow the English media too much?), he played an amazing season in Man United, so why would he want to go to Real Madrid where he could be just another star among other superstars? Perhaps they're offering him more money, but it's still strange... or is it because of the weather?
Supported them as a boy and to be fair, he's won everything he can with United and in the Premiership, the only way is down, so better to find a fresh challenge. At arguably the worlds biggest club side. Nothing whatsoever to do with the £190k per week tax free on offer, oh no.
He won't sign for Madrid, put my house on it Unless, United get Ramos, Robinho and some cash in exchange, which Mardird would never do.
RE: He won't sign for Madrid, put my house on it
You'd lose your house mate... he's gone
Ask yourself this, if he was staying at Man U then why didn't he say so after the Champions League final. He could have stopped all the talk weeks ago.
If he was so committed to Sir Alex and Co why drag them through all this ??????

He's refused to speak to Sir Alex members of his family and his agent are labouring the point of him always wanting to play for Real. He even said after the Portugal game how he loves to play in white, ffs!!!
Apparently Portugal are playing in all white on Ronaldo's suggestion
Just to rub United's face in it even more.
The way he's going about this is shocking. Football is a joke these days; offered 150,000 English ******* Pounds a week to play for the current Champions League holders, the club who turned him into a world star, and he does that.

We're talking about the same guy who stitched his own team mate up in the last World Cup, I bet Fergie is impressed after sticking by him throughout the media assassiation that went on at the time. I honestly think that the Premiership will be a better place without him, not to mention being able to laugh at the parents down the Academy who've forked out for their lad to have several United tops with his name on the back. And perhaps Rooney can jump out of his shadow and go back to the player he was pre United. Certainly Capello has indicated he wants more from him, ironically could actually benefit the national side.
