    They should have stuck with Grant.

    2nd in League, runners up on pens in the Champions league.....
    Unlucky enough to be drawn the best side in the FA cup last season :D :D
    Runners up in the Carling cup.....

    Yet they went for someone to play attractive football....

    Just beat me to it! All afternoon i've been saying Pompey should go in for Steve Clarke...

    i wouldn't be suprised to see him back at Chelsea within a fortnight.

    Only unsuccessful taken in context with their own expectations. If they were 6th I'd understand them not being happy, but for god's sake......

    Pompey have just had their fingers burnt once

    They won't appoint another assistant manager again.

    Curbishley will get that job I think, due to the position they're in they need an experienced premiership manager.

    Scolari lost the dressing room according to some observers. But the list of 'wanted Managers' is endless. Could be Moynes with SD assistant :D :D :D

    They would be my choice if I was Abramovich, could maybe attract Poyet back too. All know the club inside out. Don't think Grant is the answer at all, they didn't like his style first time around and they were winning, don't think this squad is as good so a new manager isn't gonna turn it around instantly and the pressure will be on. No money available either by the looks of it, unless they sell, Lampard to AC Milan to join Beckham in the summer?

    I can read the table to. however, what phil Scolari being sacked has to do with Davey's performance is a mystery. why you are linking the two together in some obsurd way beggars belief.
