Similarly to Stoke, Millwall don't lose often. They're currently unbeaten in 9 games, although they've drawn 5 of those. Away from home, they have the 7th best record (contrasting to us being the 7th best home team), and have lost once on the road in their last 8 away games. Also fairly similarly to Stoke, Millwall haven't got the best record at Oakwell in the past 25 years or so. Albeit their record is better than Stoke's was on Wednesday. In the last 10 meetings at Oakwell, we've won 6, drawn 2 and lost 2. Millwall have struggled for goals at times this season, something we've done too, however do seem quite tight at the back. Considering our form at the minute, and the fact we're at home, I fancy us to sneak another narrow win. I'm going 1-0 with Morris on the scoresheet. YOU REDS!!!
They've had 3-0 defeats against Middlesbrough, Hudds and Bristol this season, so they do have a big loss in them and we could do with improving our GD. Having said that I'm with the OP, 1-0 to us.
Reds to win 2-1 if Bradshaw plays. Reds to win 2-0 if he doesn't. We're pretty solid at the back, but we've given opposition sides a few chances recently, so I fully expect Bradshaw to put one away. But only if he plays. If he doesn't, he won't.
The last time we won 5 games on the bounce in the 2nd Tier of English football, was at the beginning of the 96/97 season, and we know how that season finished don't we?
Me too but it doesn't do the blood pressure any good. I think it's worse watching the vidiprinter when we're 1-0 up after 16:50.
Millwall can be real spoilers on their day. However, I predict a close game and a tight 2-1 win for us. With a squeaky bum 5 added minutes time ( it nearly always seems to be 5 minutes when we’re winning)
From what av been reading they play similar to us under Rowett. Could make for another interesting game.
