No need to panic just because we've fallen back into the relegation places. We hardly ever win at the sty no matter how well we play. A good result today needed.
Hey up Don, two words, "matchday" "experience". Other clubs across all sports have been doing it for years.
Flicker is the one concentrating on keeping us in this league not Don. I wouldn't think doing these two things would be distracting the players/management team.
The supporters bar at Blackpool was just the ticket. Basic block-work, painted and then memorabilia put on walls along with TV screens showing live matches. Add into this, subsidised ale (it would be a freehouse, so BFC can chose their own suppliers) and sandwiches/burgers. Keep it simple and it'll work and I would bet total project cost would be <£300 K.
For the record, I support both. Just find the clamour for it slightly odd at times. We're in a very precarious position right now. I'm sure we'll have a shiny new scoreboard on August 3rd
Not interested in scoreboard one little bit. I'm always concentrating on REDS game and no other game comes into my mind. Supporters bar is different thing all together........and much needed.......bit like 3 points today!
**** the scoreboard or matchday experience. I go for the football. I can work the score out without a board. And I get my matchday experience a few hours before kick off.
Yeah but those 'few hours before the match' are spent away from the Club. A scoreboard could also generate more income. Surely you would want that revenue coming into the Club, wouldn't you? I just think it should stay on ice, we need all energy focused on survival. I agree with the initiatives - just not right now
Don't get me wrong, I'd like us to have one of those big video boards, and it would be nice to have decent ale on tap in the stands. Just not something I feel we need to be talking about a few hours before our latest cup final.
Nope, I'm just interested in progress. But this is Barnsley and progress seems to be a taboo at times around here.
Given that people still wear the same clothes they wore in the 80s as best, you can see barnsley will never move forward
