Are the club investing in a new scoreboard for Oakwell? Someone at work just told me they were but not heard owt. Hope so, the current one is on its last legs and looks rubbish

Burnley are charging £500 per minute to advertise on their score board. If we use it to it's full capabilities it should pay for itself within a year.

If it could pay itself off in a year we would have had one in years ago. We may be stupid but we're not that stupid.

Of course not. Not even the best teams keep a clean sheet every week but it doesn't prevent them from owning a scoreboard. And if a £100k player is the answer to our defensive problems I`ll eat my hat. Whether or not it ultimately pays for itself remains to be seen, as none of us can know that at this stage. Knocking the club for trying to progress is a tad unfair and to leverage your point with our away defensive problems doesnt really add up IMO.

no one has either knocked the clubs attemps to progress or mentioned away team performances as far as i can see, i made a point that i personally would rather see us spend 100k on a new player, in this case a defender as our first team have historically over the past few years been very poor in that department im sure you will agree.

The man we're supposed to have faith in puts the poor defensive record down to the sale of Vaz Te - not the quality of the defenders.

re-read it, I am using Irony

of course not, £100k could perhaps go better on a new player,IMHO.

Match day experience. The reason I only attend the big games at Oakwell these days.
