Why doesn't the scoreboard show updated scores from other matches these days? Is it knackered altogether?
I'd imagine so, most of the bulbs are on their way out anyway so it's probably a pointless exercise in trying to get them on when they can just read them out or if you're lucky get them on your phone.
Going through the latest scores on it is like a game of, "I wonder what team that is supposed to be saying". The fact the thing can't even display a zero properly these days is embarrassing, it's not a big thing but it's disappointing that the new regime seem to have continued where the old one left off with announcing certain things that were happening at Oakwell only for it to be swept under the carpet.
Not always possoible as alot of the time Oakwell phone signal can be poor. But maybe today we will get the latest scores and someone will remember to turn on all the concourse TVs for Soccer Saturday.
Shocking really from a championship club. Really though things would be different with he new management.
Me. We are a championship club and that doesn't just mean as a football team but how we look to our own fans and others with other aspects of how we are run.
I would imagine Wilson thinks it has an affect on the players. Results going against is could affect performances. Also regarding the signal. Imagine the overload in links to the signal in the area. Nothing to do with Oakwell's signals.
I imagine as we get to the end of the season, they don't want to give stadium wide updates on how are religation rivals are doing? Would be easy for the players to see?
it serves no worldly purpose now, other than to show how long is left to go. it really does need sorting for kick off next season. whichever league we're in.
Very early on in mansfords reign he did promise that the scoreboard situation would be fixed. I know to some people it's not a big deal, but a man's word is. So mansford, tell us what happened?
