gets tin hat...... however i thought Walsall had a pretty decent one on saturday ,no idea of cost but on gates of 4k can it really have cost that much?? details here http://d3led.com/project-gallery/walsall/walsall.html
Agree pal, showed match highlights pre-game and player interviews. Very impressive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Still not sure what the problem is on this one. Whilst it doesn't bother me either way the justifications coming out of the club seem flimsy and we do need to impede the match day experience some how.
I was thinking much the same. Ours is an embarrassment. I'd rather they just get rid of it if they can't afford a new one.
"Impede"? I thought that's what they were doing by not replacing that scoreboard and putting new one in
Given the lack of progress at Oakwell to date. I suspect that we will have to wait for a total breakdown or for enough bulbs to blow to make the existing scoreboard illegible. It is obviously not a high priority at present. Perhaps promotion will promote a change of heart.
PS. I wonder how easy it was to see the Walsall scoreboard from the upper tier of the home stand behind the goal.
Sell Winnall and get a scoreboard as to some fans this seems the priority. It could show exciting items like Barnsley 1 Dagenham and Redbridge 0.
I'm not really that bothered about us spending money on a new scoreboard - I'd like one but it's not high up on my list of priorities but for heaven's sake please can we switch of the current scoreboard; it's embarrassing.
They can't even be arsed putting latest scores on it anymore, so chances of it being replaced seem to be zero. If they can't put what latest scores are on it and are no closer to the 11-7 matchday experience Mansford spoke of ages ago, then it getting totally replaced would appear way off the radar. I know they said they will look at it again in the summer but don't hold your breathe.
I went to Walllsall other day , and yes their scoreboard was decent, but it really did not enhance my matchday experience, i don,t get all the talk for a new board, yes ours is indeed knackered ,and we are behind the likes of Wallsall and even Donny Rovers, but we will get one when and if we either can afford one , or really see the need for one, but each to their own opinions, just one point to note, did you see the advertising screen in the carpark, huge thing right next to the motorway, the income from that alone would i reckon pay for a scoreboard in the ground
we'll get one if we get back into the championship. or we get the john stones windfall. outside either of those happening, i'm not ar$ed. money better spent on the squad. i would turn it off though.
Flashback 100 years ago. Old fan " sell Wilf Bartrop and get a roof as to some fans this seems a priority.whos bothered about a bit of rain. PROGRESS!!!
