Far from the finished article, but his pace is ridiculous. Great finisher as well. Can't see him still being here next season, so someone else will have to get the winner at Oakwell.... Watch for his second goal on the telly.
Good point, but goalscorers score goals at most levels. See Adam Le Fondre who was often on the bench at Dale, Hogan's all-round game is much better than Le Fondre's was at the same stage too.
He's some player for them. And they do know a striker when they see one. Lambert, Murray, ALF, Daggers and COG. Keith obviously didn't think he was ready for us at that point, but thought he'd do well in League Two so took him back there. And he's doing the business in League Two. Could he do it at Championship level? Dunno. We'll probably find out next season I reckon. He'd do well in League One, though. But laugh all you want at the £1m price tag etc, Peterborough/Wolves offered the best part of that in January. And, he'll be out of our price range no matter the division we line up in next Summer. Still the Championship, in my opinion. Cracking result for Dale again. Shame about Bury. They were starting to look a good outside bet for the playoffs, but that looks unlikely now. Would be something if we did go down and had to play them both twice. And tinpot United. Bradford would be good for me, though. But as I say, we'll stay up. I'm 90% certain of it. There are 3 clubs worse than we are. You'll see. *I'm drinking.
