I understand that you played at Millwall after a bereavement in your close family and left the pitch in tears. For that you deserve respect, especially at this time of year. You got your payback for that devotion on Saturday ~ Oakwell-style.* Yes, you were partially at fault for both goals, but they were both quality and the "gerrit forard" brigade*will always delude themselves that Hassell would have done better despite his extra yard of slowness. I fear that you may have played your last game for the club after Saturday.If so I like to think that you weren't subbed but just walked off the pitch, got into your car and left. Your form in the first ten or games of the season was pretty damn good on the whole. Yes, you've dropped from that level but so have most of the team or we wouldn't be where we find ourselves. You never really stood a chance though given that you came from Rochdale and your predecessor was for some reason the subject of a strange love-in with almost*homoKesual overtones.*I've always admired*Hassell*for his work rate, commitment and versatility but you*are quicker and*more comfortable on the ball. I must admit that*I was surprised to see you linked to Southampton and Reading but the best of luck if you make it to the Prem. Don't worry about us - we might bring Darren Moore back. Wiseman was a massive scape goat for a lot if people. I see wiseman got blamed for the second goal on Saturday? What happened to Steele getting beaten at his near post? Bad goalkeeping in my opinion. More Steele at fault than wiseman.
Every team has one. Nicky Eaden got it for years and he was playing in some of the most successful Barnsley teams we've ever seen.
