Had his fair share of stick this season but have to say he had a solid game yesterday IMO, didnt put a foot wrong, and great work for 2nd Goal.
Hope he has done a Dagnall and we now see best of him

Thought he dropped a couple of clangers second haif but then so did his team mates, we had a nervy spell, excellent run and pass for Marlon to get the second.

He had a very good 1st half, not so good 2nd but ok. RWB will be his best position, he has for the pace for it. But, he is loose with his passing at times, just doesn't look as competent on the ball as our other players. He had a decent game though overall.

I must have missed their second goal.

Wiseman was invisible for it, like the rest of our defence

Thought he was decent first half, but not so good second half.

His weakness for me as a defender is his poor one on one ability. Whenever someone runs at him he's always beaten far too easily, or he makes clumsy challenges - the free kick given away right on the edge of the box for example.

But for me, he struggled second half IMO because O'Brien came on and offered no cover/help whatsoever.

I do however believe that with us behind him he could indeed improve as others have under the new regime.

He was decent going forward, especially first half. That's as far as I'd take it, not exactly the solid performance one suggests in the original post.

I thought we played 4 at the back most of the time. Hassell played more as a CDM and then so did Delap when he came on.

He's OK goign forward, but still a poor defender in my opinion. His mis-kick under little pressure when clearing just outside our box in the second half sums him up for me as a defender. Likely to create problems when none should exist. The further away he is from our goal the better for me. Did well for the second goal, which kind of sums up my view on him.

He's not bad at going forward IMO his goal against derby last season and a couple more performances when we have dominated teams has been excellent .
I'd play him in a more forward position if i was dtermined to keep him and see how he fairs.
My worry is that he would be ok with teams we can dominate but would his defensive duties when needed from a more forward position be enough.

Remember he has not had first team match fitness with being out. Kennedy was at fault for goal not Wiseman
