Well lads I'm back from my trip over the border to watch the cup final and I've got to say it was a quality weekend.
The game itself was great to watch, end to end stuff from start to finish and the cup went to the best team on the day (sorry Ian) Everyone I met was very welcoming and only mentioned William Wallace and Bannockburn about 50 times.;)
Celtic Park is a very impressive stadium (pies only £2.40) and the atmosphere was superb from both sets of supporters.
All in all looking forward to my next final hopefully at Hampden.
Big thanks to arabian ian and all the Artic Arabs for making it so memorable. :):):)

    Hope it might happen mate.

We threw away any prospect of European football (obviously we didna want it). So now we will be after some sort of pre season friendly south of the border.

Get your admin staff on to it.

End to end stuff? I must've been watching a different match!

Celtic Park is a nice stadium though, I'd love to experience a European night there.

Watched it on tele, was a decent match, what was that St. Johnstone player doing whacking the ball over the line with his arm though? He had more than enough time to select another part of his body.

Stevie May. You're right any part of his body touching the ball would have put it in.

I just plucked up the courage to watch it again and really someone up there really hates us. We had absolutely no luck what so ever. If Ryan Dow's effort off the post had went in, different game and Ciftci's free kick beating the keeper and hitting the bar. For their second Sean Dillon was slow to see McLean lurking in the middle and should have moved forward to render him offside. But as usual he was dreaming.

Again a Cup Final is lost when we really should have won it.

I'm struggling to think of any more than 3 chances United created, including Ciftci's free kick. Definitely wasn't an "end to end" Final!
