Been on twitter earlier and abuse certain liverpool fans were aiming at Chelsea was a joke, 1 kid tweeted "I ****ing hate chelski, I hope all the players houses burn down with there kids in" #scum . Don't get me wrong what happened at hillsborough was very sad but you'd think with all the publicity they receive and the bitterness they feel they'd have the decency not to write such things. They continually go on and on yet I hear that most games at anfield away supporters getting ambushed, some man city shirters got done over the other week aswell I heard. Like I say I fully support justice for what happened at hillsborough but when you read and hear things like this you'd think some people would use there loafs a bit more!
Horrible nasty vicious fans and a horrible club. Some of the scousers calling in to speak to Ian Wright were beyond belief. One hung up because Wrighty wouldn't agree with him about Ian Rush being an utter disgrace for daring to laugh at the game.
Bit much calling a whole city or even a club because of a minority of fans imo. I'd be devastated to be linked with a certain section of our fans
Started to believe their own hype and thought winning league was a formality, because it was theirs to lose now they realise they've been made to look a bit silly giving it big un singing we're going to win the league, now they're chocking, and in typical Liverpool fashion they're looking for some one else to blame. So the rent boys are getting it so to speak
I suspect its just a vocal minority who are being the arses - Id still prefer them to win the title but you have to hand it to Mourhino he got it spot on yesterday - had to laugh at Rodgers who I normally have a lot of time for moaning that Chelsea set up to stop them scoring. What did he expect
Send the same to loads of Liverpool fans since the game. Mourinho is the tactical master. If he had set Chelsea up to go all out attack, Liverpool would have hammered them. Instead, he played on the break. Knowing Liverpool had no plan B if he could cut out the neat passing they do on edge on box, working the ball through to the runners. Look at his record in the big games, majority of time he gets it right.
As many on here will know I'm not a lover of Liverpool FC but of course fans will sing "We're gonna win the league" when top of the table. We sing "We're the greatest football team the worlds has ever known"! To be fair to the Liverpool fans I personally know they haven't been counting their chickens, been very cautious not to get carried away, particularly on facebook. One posted up a really dignified and gracious in defeat comment last night - said that Mourinho got his tactics spot on, didn't blame him for setting up his team defensively. And said that while he'll be disappointed if they don't win the title he'll be thankful for a great season. As he said - if he'd been told at the start of the season that they'd be in the mix for the title with 2 games left to play he'd have laughed at them.
