In front of me. A couple of BFC fans comparing notes. Bits of verbals not sure what about and then the unnecessaries. I had to move a whole yard to my right which I wasn't happy about, but I let it go. You knocked an innocent woman over lads, if you're watching.

I've never understood the mentality of dickheads that want to go to football matches and threaten/fight with each other. Especially with their own supporters. Seen a lot more of it since I moved into the Ponty End this season.

    Usually over something and nothing.

I'll use an earlier thread as an example someone boo'd Dicky Bird. So what? Wouldn't mind if it was over something important or life threatening. Some people just don't or can't accept that someone has a different opinion or outlook to them.

Surely we're there to get behind the team? It's a game of Football FFS!

Sunday philosophy over. Normal service resumed tomorrow.

I saw Dyson and was off to say hello, but they were engaged in a verbal exchange with this ape pitch side, who then came up and started on one of them. Not a single steward around. I didn't see Liam fighting, but obviously he's not going to stand there and let his mate get hit. It spilled over the seats and knocked a women back over hers.

I stepped out of the row of seats and nearer the pitch to applaud Stephen Dawson who had come over to see the fans. Then noticed ape lad talking to someone about not getting thrown out, it might have been the lad he was scrapping with.

Kicked off cos I told a bloke about 40 odd to get off pitch cos I wanted to clap my team off. To which he kept asking me to 'come ere' eventually he made his way up to where we were stood, a few other lads told him to **** off n grow up or summet along thos lines and he got into it with another lad. He ended up scrapping with said lad and Dyson had to grab that bloke cos he were choking that lad out.

I agree with most of your post mate but where my opinion differs is the point about booing Dickie; when you do something inappropriate like this the chances are you're going to get a reaction from people around you. This is not a good example of differing opinions it's purely a complete lack of respect.

The people who run on the pitch are dicks. I would love to clout a few but not worth the consequences.

I was stood with you. He was told to get off the pitch, then came and threw a load of punches (missed them all) then grabbed one lad round throat. Complete knob who I hope gets banned from Oakwell. Seemed very much a cowardly thing to do, come round the back of them and try to strangle then.

And you're quite entitled to your opinion, Mario. (As I am mine) But I'm not going to come stomping across the Ponty End giving you verbals or threatening you just because you disagree with me.

Question: Is booing the Ref or an opposition player/manager then not a lack of respect and inappropriate?

Not my mate pal. Never seen him before, same with the bell end that came up playing the big man.

We were giving him some hammer for being a dick. He didn't like it, came up and it kicked off. I grabbed him to split 'em up then he went in for seconds and did it again.

Booing an opposition player, the ref or even your own team is common place in football and comes with the territory but to boo an old man (a fellow proud fan) who was doing something at the request of the club is very different and beyond the pale IMO. I just don't think there is any justification for booing an old man.

The West Stand is endanger of losing it's genteel reputation. I'm coming in a dress next season.

No, I didn't want Mido chasing me all over the West Stand. Not that he'd be able to catch me.
