Has the initial allocation sold out now? And is there any word on the grapevine when we’d be getting some more through? They sold out fairly quickly them if so! You reds.
Saying sold out on eticketing. When we can get more articles usually say initial allocation, so the 1,600 sold is probably it with no more available two weeks in advance..... https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2018/august/scunny-tickets/
There’s going to be some very big following this season. Sold out at Bradford, “sold out” (kind of) at Blackpool. Long may it continue.
Very small away end though and highly unlikely they would allow us to spill over onto the side stands. This is how it is going to be all season, with smaller grounds trying not to let us dominate the home fans. Be interesting how many Doncaster allow, especially if they are up near the top as well. 2,000 maybe? If so they should get the same at Oakwell, AND cram them all into the top corner near the tunnel. It won't happen though will it - - they'll be offered the whole 6,000 or whatever it is.
I will never understand the selfishness and shortsightedness of fans who believe that tit for tat. Screwing of opposition fans is a good way to act
Spot on, if clubs genuinely can't accommodate us then it's fair enough. We have a huge often empty away end. Any set of fans who can fill it are more than welcome for me.
Possibly so but I can see them getting all "big club" about it this season and funnelling us into a smaller space. They won't want four five thousand away fans out-shouting THEIR five thousand, will they?
It's never bothered them before and I'm sure they would much prefer the money through the gates especially in this division where they won't get over 1000 many times this season.
Probably but any Wimbledon fans that are here are are probably just glad to have a club to follow, fair play to them.
Absolutely right, and I'm not having a go at them in any way. It's brilliant when clubs appear to have been sentenced to death but get resurrected, usually by the efforts of local people in different ways. It was shocking what happened to them, after such an illustrious history of First Division football and winning the Cup.
We've had side tickets before at Scunny, so hopefully we can get another few hundred off them. Going to have to start making categories like season pass holders with history of X amount of away games, as they can't for Accrington for example put them straight on general sale.
Soon be gone again I reckon. Thought it was strange two weeks in advance with two away games before then.
The other two away games are mid week though. Not ideal with work and all. I can imagine the Scunthorpe game is more popular.
Could not get a Bradford ticket so learnt my lesson and was very quick of the mark for the Scunthorpe tickets, got mine already.
Plus it's bank holiday week. But way it's going Shrewsbury could be a sell out next month on a Tuesday night.
