Just been reading some threads, and people been slagging off Sean and saying how Wroe is **** like him. When McClare was playing for us he was a bloody good player. Pulled the strings in midfield to allow space for Hignett and was very underated. A far better player than Bruan Howard and Nicky Wroe. When Bassett came in he cast out McClare (and Arjan as well) which were a couple of mistakes. Every one has there own opinion and mine is that McClare was very underrated- hence why Winnie and Redders got him straight in (though they are in Conference).
yes but the fact he has gone on to conference football doesnt exactly show him to be a class act does it.

RE: your opnion I always thought that when he played, Hignett played well, because he covered every blade and it freed up space for Higgy
I remember.... going to get my barnsley history book signed by kevin richardson (supose to be the manager but he was away signing bruce dyer). and kevin richardson said he prefered playing with mclare in the middle because they have chemistry.
RE: your opnion i think higgy was good enough to make his own space. i agree with some of what you say though he has got worse since he left if conference is best he can do.
