    Sean O'Driscoll is new Rovers manager
    Doncaster Rovers will name Bournemouth manager Sean O'Driscolll as their new manager following Saturday's game against Gillingham.

    Although neither club will confirm that O'Driscoll will be Rovers next manager, BBC Radio Sheffield understands that he has already agreed a deal to join the club.

    The two sides reached a settlement this morning, however there will be no official statement until tomorrow, as O'Driscoll will be in charge of the Cherries' game against Crewe.

    The 49-year-old has earned the reputation as a good up and coming manager, who is tactically sound and is keen on youth development. The move to Belle Vue will end a 23 year association with the South Coast club where he has had a number roles from player upwards.

    Current caretaker boss Mickey Walker will be bought in as O'Driscoll's number two, restoring him as the club's assistant manager after a spell as director of football.

    Rovers Chairman John Ryan will make a statement at 17.00 tomorrow on Praise or Grumble. You can listen to Praise or Grumble live online through this website.

    Cherries Team News For Crewe </p><div class="articleBody" id="articleBody"><table border="0"><tbody><tr><td background="http://www.afcb.co.uk/javaImages/17/c5/0,,10324~2868503,00.jpg">

    Assistant manager Richard O'Kelly has paid tribute to the work of Steve Hard (physio) and Mark Burley (fitness coach) for afcb.co.uk having no injury news to bring fans ahead of Crewe's visit on Saturday.</p>

    Cherries' loan midfielder Lionel Ainsworth is absent from the squad on compassionate leave and remarkably there are no injuries for Sean and Richard to worry about ahead of Saturday's match against Crewe.

    Neil Young continued his route to full fitness by taking part on Tuesday's reserve friendly win over Dorchester Town and is pushing for a place in Saturday's squad.

    Assistant Manager Richard O'Kelly told afcb.co.uk, &quot;Everybody is fit so touch wood - I must find some somewhere! - we've got a clean bill of health.&quot;

    &quot;It's testament to the work of Mark Burley and Steve Hard have done and the work the lads put in during pre-season. Steve has worked on preventative measures and the players have taken that on board so it's culminated in having a near enough fully fit squad.&quot;

    On the subject of keeping players happy and also match fit, O'Kelly said those 'problems' have been dealt with in a number of ways and that it's the kind of issue managers want to be dealing with as it can bring out the best in players.</p>

    Richard added, &quot;What you want is competition for places and the fact we have that is excellent. You get a competitive element on the training pitch, which improves performance, which in turn improves results.&quot;

    &quot;You can't replicate match fitness, but we've arranged a couple of extra reserve games. These are helping with fitness levels and Mark the fitness coach has also introduced some new measures to help keep everyone fit.&quot;
