I don't think we have the players for the way he plays. I think we need some high energy attacking football rather than the patient football that needs time to develop in the situation we are in.
Everyone saying O'Driscoll. He's clearly a good manager but his style of management, style of play and style of interviews are almost EXACTLY what many Barnsley fans have been infuriated by over the years. He likes patient, tippy tappy football. He likes to develop players and teams over seasons. He often recruits lower league players to develop. All admirable traits, but considering how that went with Hill, would he really be suited to us right now?
I don't think he would fit the bill as far as the majority of BFC fans are concerned. Apart from what you have written, his interviews are just about as bad as Paul Hart's
God no, O'Driscoll is the last manager we need. Why would we replace the world's most unfathomable manager with its least charismatic? O'Driscoll has never been successful at Championship level and is probably the only manager in recent history to have a had a run of results worse than Hill! Ye Gods, if O'Driscoll turns up at Oakwell, that's me done after 33 years home and and away.
Why the hell does it matter how he sounds in an interview, if he keeps Barnsley up I personally couldn't give a toss
They want to fetch in and pay the rate for Billy Davis. His input on the players might JUST get us out of the mess Hil put us in
Not O'Driscoll for me. Did well at Forest over a short period, but otherwise not that greater record.
Jesus, o' driscoll or billy Davies, like it's even a debate? sometimes I really do worry about some folk. billy Davies who with a nasa budget couldn't get forest out of the championship or o' driscoll with no money and a track record of producing effective attractive teams. who would you pick?
Seriously? We play the exact way Donny were, pretty triangles **** all in the last third. This teams made for him
