His win percentage is below average, his manner is as dull as the football he serves up, and he also 'politely' turned us down before Flicker got the job on the basis that he needed time out of the game. Then pitched up at Bristol City a fortnight later, a team we finished above in the end. I would not go if he got the job. Period.
Oh dear Yt...last week it was 'players and managers come and go, I support Barnsley Fc' or summat like that. So what's changed ...... Or were you fibbing all a long like Jase and co! P.s. for the record I don't want o dreary either....be worse than hillcroft. Hth
There are limits to what I'll put up with, mate. For example, I wouldn't support the club if Ched Evans was signed up front. I don't care how fickle it makes me, I don't want O'Dismal in charge. Which means my vote on the poll for the don't care option makes no sense, because I clearly do. I put a handful of names in the blog the other night who would see me ceasing to support the club. His was one of them. If they appoint him, so be it. I'll go watch Rochdale/Huddersfield.
I'd kinda thought if he turned us down last time then maybe he'd only take it on his terms - and therefore hopefully break loose from the club's culture that seems to drag all our bosses down. Have to concede the win %age don't look good though, Whitey. I also see he's been working with the England U-19's, which raises the worrying possibility that he might think Digby is any good.
With you on Huddersfield, Whitey. They've usually had a reputation for playing attractive footy. And I've always liked the cut of Chris Powell's jib (although Jake will know better, obviously).
