Opinions were mixed on here, but I always thought he was decent.. http://www.thefa.com/news/england/d...o-driscoll-appointed-england-u19s-boss-010914
This is a different job altogether to Club Management. It is a Coaching position and is about development of individual players not just winning. I'm just wondering what is happening with John Peacock who I know from having met him on FA Coaching Days and at Sheffield & Hallamshire Coaches Association sessions is an excellent Coach.
Great appointment that by the FA IMO. He plays the game the right way which can only be good for the younger players development and the future of the England side.
I'm just pleased he rejected us. He reminds me of Paul Hart: decent coach, absolutely shocking manager.
