This is my 1st post on here but had to do it after just sitting and watching season recap on YouTube. Absolutely fantastic. Couldn't stop smiling and had my heart racing all the way through. Wonderful memories. Some of the play and goals were up there with the best I have ever seen at Barnsley. It also reminds you of some of the players you wish were still at Oakwell like Ethan and Kieffer but for me it highlighted what both Woodrow and Mowatt bring to the team. We do play a different style now but they are still in my option 2 of the main players we have to keep hold of. So please board do the right thing and make sure Alex stays. You reds!!!
I loved that season! I got to a fair few away game's (particularly in the first half of the season), and is was refreshing to go into almost every game as the favourite. There was a sense of something magic happening again, and whilst I don't think that team was as strong as the one that got us up in 15/16, Stendel definitely had us set up in a way that made us irresistible to watch.
Best football since that side with Glavin in his pomp. Genuinely breathtaking at times, utterly dominating opponents.
