I disagree. Sooner they are on sale, the sooner the club know their budget.

They’re been delivered by Fanatics just in time for the 25/26 season.

I wouldn't have thought it was too difficult to estimate what they will have. We are relatively steady on ST numbers

Club will already know roughly their budgets (dependant on which league) the only thing they don’t know is where the money is coming from, the more from us the less from them etc.

I think we have it about right. Too early and people may struggle to get em at early bird price. (Interest free makes a difference budget wise and would ease that problem.)

I doubt going earlier will make much difference. We know the base ST numbers are pretty steady, and current numbers won’t go down. The only significant bump will be if we get promoted, and those people probably won’t decide until they know what league we’re going to be in. Of course at that point, there will be people who complain at not getting the EB price, but hey. We get that every time.

I'm not sure how we've done it the last few years but I know I the past we haven't given much notice for the early bird price so I'd like to see a minimum of 2 monthly pay days between prices announced and early bird ending.
Either announced mid February with early bird being the first Monday in May or mid march with early bird being first Monday in June.
That would allow anyone paid monthly to take money out of 2 separate pay slips to meet the cost.

And yes I know people SHOULD be able to budget anyway but we don't live in a perfect world.

I'd also like to see a season ticket saving scheme (I think we did that before) where people can pay any amount they want to the club throughout the year and it goes towards the cost of next year's ticket. That has benefits for the fan because it helps them budget throughout the year and feels like less of a cost at the end and benefits the club in getting money in early and also means there's more chance of those fans actually getting a ticket rather than deciding not to bother because they've already paid up front essentially. Anyone who paid more than their season ticket cost can withdraw the money if they choose or leave it in for the following year or for merchandise

I agree that there isn't enough notice for the early bird period. I think it's usually announced in the last week of March, before going on sale at the start of April and coming to an end at the end of April. I also don't understand why the early bird period can't run until the end of May. Is it to spite people who are waiting to see what division we're in? I see no harm in announcing it at the end of February, and having an early bird period running from 1st March until 31st May. I guess the reason behind it is that they get the majority of the money in 1 month, as opposed to dribs and drabs for the first 2 1/2 months, and then a mad rush in the last fortnight.

I renewed during early bird last year and paid with the 12 month scheme. My final payment is at the beggining of march so I would imagine it will be announced in next couple of weeks by that reckoning
