Just had a letter today - I imagine a lot of fans have, pleading to buy a season ticket! It was dated the 29th, but on the 29th I actually bought my ticket - the day i came home from holiday (1 hour before).

A shame if we don't sell as many as anticipated.

I've not got a letter since the renewel form came through the other week. I can imagine it being like when Ronnie Moore was kept as Oldham manager and he ended up getting sacked when season ticket sales halved and they had no choice but to get rid of the manager if they wanted to sell more.

Fan power worked that time. Many of us i'm sure just buy a season ticket out of habit. It can't be because we get value for money on the pitch.

Is that because of Davey or some other reason mate? Just out of interest.

We will be renewing towards the end of the month

... no incentive to do it any earlier

Does that mean your seat will be up for grabs?

I'm putting all my birthday money in a separate account to try and cover the costs, pop a bit in each week/month etc and hope I can save up.

I'm guessing your reasons are mainly Davey related?

It's up for grabs

:)

It's not just Davey, it's the increase in costs for travel, etc.

I just cannot justify it anymore. I'll have to start picking and choosing my games again.

Davey is a small factor, but the main factor is cost of travel, etc.

I hate missing games, but I need to get used to it.

I was picking and choosing the games I went with my 8 year old daughter, and it cost me £520.00. So season ticket for me.

It's the diesel/train tickets/breakfast/lunch/dinner that costs so much. Match tickets are always 20-30 pounds.

I'm sure I'll make a good number of games anyway.

See that's the point. We should have Early Bird deals like other clubs.

Its the Simon Davey factor...........and so its a hard one for PC to call

PC obviously likes what SD is doing so wants to keep him on
However, most of the fans dont like what SD is doing

This puts PC between a rock and a hard place
If he gets shut of SD he sells more seson tickets
But if he gets shut of SD we go into the unknown which in the long run may work out worse than what we have got

So as a sweetener.........PC knows we are likely not to sell as many season tickets so he lowers the season ticket prices

As soon has the announcement came that season ticket prices were being lowered everybody must have known that SD was staying at the club
