My dads just turned 60... Is he now classed as a senior ticket? And my brothers not 16 till august 16th so will he fall into under 16 category if the first game is before then? Cheers
Senior ticket price is over 65's Price is based on age at start of season on 6th August 2016. So your brother will still be under 16's. https://barnsleyfccommunity.co.uk/a...BFC_SeasonTicketCampaign_Letter_Tables_A4.pdf
If your dad has had a ST continuously since 2009-10 or 2010-11 (not sure which) he qualifies at 60. If not its 65. When they increased the age limit they agreed to continue honouring the 60 age for anyone holding an ST at that time, provided they continued renewing until they reached 60.
I got mine at 60 but because I was 60 after the season started I was told I would have to wait for the half season ticket
He's had it since 1996... Just tried ringing but got transferred to ticketmaster then told to ring the number I had rung originally. I'll try again first thing and see if I can save him some money.
I am 60 in July and have had a season ticket since early 90's. I have just renewed and qualified for the reduced price. Take your birth certificate to the box office when you renew.
I am older than you and I will be 66 before I get concession, I think there is only us and Wednesday in Yorkshire that have 65. Ps. if you need help crossing the road give me a shout.
If you have held a season ticket for five years or more, the club will let you have a concession at 60.
Ha ha, thank you for your kind offer. My daughter who is also a season ticket holder is horrified that she's going to footy with "an apprentice pensioner". I think she's just upset at having to pay £370 while her old Dad is now in the £205 club !!!!.
If your Dad has had a season ticket for the past 20 years and he has just turned 60, he will qualify for a senior season ticket.
Definitely worth asking the box office then. If you bought in before the change was made you will qualify at 60. Sent from my SM-T520 using Tapatalk
