Total farce as per usual, I tried to book as soon as they were open to ST holders..for some reason it kept saying I didn't have the right permission. when I finally did get on, all the blocks I wanted had gone..ended up booking at a price and position I wasn't overkeen on, and then bingo..later on that day the block I really wanted was suddenly open despite having been apparently sold out for two weeks.
It's all a bit dodgy really. People wanting to buy seats but were told or advertised as sold out, but then later appear available in abundance: trades description act issue here perhaps?
I honestly don't think the club see the importance of fans getting where they want to sit in the stadium. They just think a seat is a seat.
They have released better seats in the middle tier for the game. I contacted BFC to see if I could swap the tickets, but they told me to call Ticketmaster. I called Ticketmaster just now, and after been on hold, they told me to call another number. I called the other number and I was on hold for over 5 minutes, so I hung up (I am in the USA). It’s a pity they handled the ticketing this way and opened better seats later on, as I would like the best view for this one-off event.
This is what the Box Office said to a fan over a week ago. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/TomWollerton">@TomWollerton</a> yes once your original tickets arrive you can return them to us for a refund if you wish to buy different seats.</p>— BFC Box Office (@BFCBoxOffice) <a href="https://twitter.com/BFCBoxOffice/status/706146312849375232">March 5, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <script async="" src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script><iframe id="rufous-sandbox" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" allowfullscreen="true" style="position: absolute; visibility: hidden; display: none; width: 0px; height: 0px; padding: 0px; border: none;"></iframe><iframe id="rufous-sandbox" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" allowfullscreen="true" style="position: absolute; visibility: hidden; display: none; width: 0px; height: 0px; padding: 0px; border: none;"></iframe>
Thanks mate. I emailed the Box Office for confirmation and they said I could return the tickets. I'll obviously lose the ticketing and postal fees, but that's OK. I've been able to move from the top tier (501) to the bottom tier (124) and get the good tickets. I'll be back for the S****horpe game on Good Friday, but I'm not sure what the Box Office hours will be over Easter. I may have to post them. Cheers, Mal
