Saw it on FB Away Days earlier, it was Leeds who had about 5500/5700 at Preston. Was always going to be them lot considering the size of allocation they had.

Their away support is unbelievable, it's not like they've had a great season or recent history either.
When you consider the population of all these towns and cities, we really must be the best supported club in the country. I mean Brian the Blade can bang on about dem blades having twice our attendance all he likes, but they're a club in a city with a population which is at least 6 times the population of Barnsley. That's a bit misleading. WBA are the local team for half of Dudley and the rest of Sandwell - the population of West Bromwich is pretty much irrelevant. It's like judging the fanbase of Spurs based on the population of Tottenham alone.
I agree though they all mislead a bit as don't count the surrounding area. I still think Burnley are the best supported team though. I was surprised that Fleetwood take the prize in our league though.
