I actually enjoyed the first half. We battled, we tried to play, we defended as a unit and we tried to go forward. There was no difference between the two sides. What was said at half time? What was in the oranges? The first 10 minutes of the second half was just a joke. The defence looked like they'd never even seen each other before. We stood and watched, time and time again as Reading just ran at as, and walked the ball into the net. It was dreadful. It closely resembled the junior mini match that comprised the half time entertainment. We just weren't at the races after the break and I don't think it was a case of Reading raising their game, I think it was just us resorting back to normality. We'd given (presumably) our all for the first 45 and thereafter, we just capitulated. It was embarrassing to watch. Again, no threat going forward, (I can't remember Federici having a save to make) and set of clowns at the back. Positive - Rose played well for the 70 mins in which he featured. Nouble - he was rubbish the first time around and hasn't got much better. Not good enough. I also see Dagnall has joined Bradford - no surprises there. Piss poor.
