Have you considered the possibility That Boggy coming on as an impact sub might be more productive than him starting just a thought like. Personally I'd start him and Macken though and leave Oddjob out
Leaving our best striker on the bench in the hope he can make a late impact in games is not the way to go. Surely he we should start our best players every game
I agree with you but Boggy coming on and scoring seems to work as well. Didnt we also score just after he came on at the sty as well How many points did we get after bringing on Kayode as an impact sub .... I would still Start Boggy and Macken up front for now though
Makes you wonder why We didn't leave the likes of Hignett, Glavin, Ward, Joicey, Butler etc. on the bench and use them as impact substitutes. Just imagine how many more goals they'd have scored!!
every time i see him hes better has a sub. The last time he played from the start was at bradford and he got lost. hes a quick lad and against tired legs hes very good.
Hasn't bogdanovic scored more when starting than KO has in over two years? Ideally we'd have a fully fit hume and bogdanovic up front with macken the impact sub plus someone like adam coming on with lazarus and sodje given a few small parts for now. KO free transfered to frickley or somewhere
Maybe his pre-season didn't go as well as was hoped And he's not as match fit as the others. I reckon he'll start on Saturday up front with Macken, and I wouldn't read too much into him not starting the first couple of games, long season ahead.
Of course he has But he has also scored more when coming on as sub as well. I think even Foster has scored more when starting than Oddjob over the last 2 seasons (this summers friendlies excluded)
I can see why Davey brings him on as a "super sub", but he needs to bring him on earlier in the second half on saturday against Coventry.
