seeing as Sheff Utd are an example of best practice

    Not so long since their Academy had some open days at a couple of locations where their coaches went out and took sessions where ANY young player could attend. They did some proper coaching with them. It was f.o.c I think.

    What a fantastic bit of PR, and what a great way to perhaps unearth some potential talent that was undiscovered or had been overlooked.

    Perhaps our Academy Director could copy this initiative ?

    Or whatever.

    We havn't got qualified people running our academy.Football people with passion,knowledge and qualifications are whats needed.

    But they cost money..

    better to use a physio</p>

    While were at it,let's use a Youth Coach and a Physio for the first team..they'll do it for next to nowt and not ask many awkward questions</p>
