First chance I get to have a lie in and I can't sleep because my shoulder is hurting.

It's not fair, I blame ................... etc., etc.

    Don't you know that

you should never blame headaches on the drink?

Your headache is down to the fact you got little/no sleep Wednesday night! :D

    Thanks.

I think I must have turned over awkwardly in my sleep and bumped my shoulder so the pain has kicked in again.

    Here's one

Dropped car off to get exhaust fitted (again), and cycled up from Hillsbro that's 2 miles up a huge hill in a gale. Just got out of shower, and have been told to get back on my bike, down to Hillsbro, to pick it up & take it to a different garage to get the tyres done. Bang goes the lazy day in bed!! Hope the shoulder gets better.

    RE: probably.....

I was in £55 queue about 45 places from the front, stood near to the exit gate. Got there at 10:30 Wed night but slept in car started queing at 3.30am. Reyt laff thoroughly enjoyed it. If you got there at 5am that sounds about right from your position sorry I didn't say hello.

Even if we get an online system one day I'll be there queuing just for the laugh :D :D

    Could be worse for you,

you could have had to use the buses and take the girls with you.

The shoulder should heal eventually, it's just frustrating that I hurt it a week ago and the pain isn't really going away.

How does drinking give you a sore throat?

I'll be ok, if it doesn't ease off then I'll have to go back to A & E like the Drs said.

"Give it a week and if it still hurts come back and see us" - Like I've nothing better to do than keep going to hospital (only got 2 checkups booked for the holidays)!

    Depends what you drink

Diesel and petrol in large quantities will give you a sore throat, as will various types of acid. Antifreeze can also be used to good effect.

Red wine causes all kinds of afflictions but as you say not a sore throat.

It is probably a remnant of all the shouting and singing I was doing on 8th March 2008.
