If you were PM - what would be the first 5 things you'd change/introduce?

    1. Ban all party donations and make elections/campaigns state funded. £20 million for each of the 3 main parties and then pro-rata on the number of seats for all others.
    2. Introduce a 60p tax bracket for those that earn over £100,000 a year (10% for 10-20k, 20% for 20-30k etc etc)
    3. Added tax for multiple home owners (those that don't rent out properties) and offer incentives to rent your property as social housing.
    4. Nationalise transport and utility companies.
    5. Remove all peerages from the House of Lords and make it a 100% elected chamber.

Your first point would be the death knell for smaller parties. How could a party like the Greens hope to run an election campaign without donations? They wouldn't get state funding as they don't have any seats. The Greens may never win an election but as a pressure group they're invaluable and this would kill them.

Also, it means we'd be stuck with the three main parties forever. Maybe in the future a new party will rise through British politics and become the number one party. The suggestion you make would stop this ever happening.

Funding should be based on the number of seats a Party will be contesting to give each one a "fair" chance

    re tax

    1) Replace current Income tax and National Insurance contributions with a single tax rate system, to cut red tape and make it easier for people to understand.</p>

Number 2 - Tax - the trouble is you then remove the incentive for people to progress and increas their earnings.

Their are other countries in the World and all the people who generate income, employ people go and live elsewhere, stripping the country of it's highest earning assets.

    1. Change the nature of our "democracy" so that the priamary elected house is the Government, not a particular party.
    2. Introduce a directly elected second chamber on the same lines as that above.
    3. Simplify Taxation by taking all those who earn under £10k out of tax and attempt to make one single tax if possible.
4.Nationalisation of banking, transport and utilities.
    5. At least 49% state ownership in other "strategically improtant" industries such as car and food (production and retail) to ensure these companies are run in the public interest, not that of a few.
    6. Invest in making Britain self sufficient in terms of food and fuel where possible.
    7. Withdraw from the EU
    8. Have beer and sandwiches with the unions.

    1) Free University places for the top 20 University in Britain for state school students, £10,000 per year to attend all the others, unless you went to a private school in which case the fees should be the same as your fees for the final year of school on top of the above.
    2) Railways to be nationalised with immediate effect, but recruiting top private sector executives to run them.
    3) Scottish and Welsh assemblies to be abolished, and laws on free nursery places, prescriptions etc to be standardised across the UK.
    4) ASBOs to be abolished and to be replaced by enforced dry loving.
    5) Leeds United to be made illegal

    1. Change the nature of our democracy so that you vote for individuals not a party. The prime minister is elected by the people. MP's are not allowed to list party allegience on ballot papers so you have to actually fecking listen to what the individual stands for, and remove the whip system.

    2. Simplify personal taxation to a single percentage of around 35 to 38% of everything you earn over and above 6k per year so that everyone works roughly the same percentage of time for the government and the same percentage of time for themselves making tax truly fair.

    3. Scrap the working families tax credits and allow MARRIED and civil partners who have made a legal commitment to each other to be a legal entitity for tax reasons enabling married couples to have one parent 100% commited to homecare and more easily give up work when children arrive and therefore increase the stability of society, improving school attendance and results, reducing divorce rates, ASBO's and genearlly sorting all the worlds ills.

    4. Introduce a system whereby every adult contributes to local authority taxes so those households with more adults using more services and producing more rubbish, etc contribute a fairer proportion of the costs of running the system.

    5. Acknowledge the contribution made by divorced fathers to the mortgage of the divorced mother on the so called premise that he's putting a roof over his his kids head, even though the betraying lying cheating scum bag "mate" of his has been living there too, so that the divorced father can at least benefit from the capital gain of the property hes been paying for for the last 15 years since the ex wife b!tch and scum bag mate cheated on him.

    6. Remove the right for people to sue the NHS for negligence.

    7. Train all coppers to be like Gene Hunt and allow them to clip young scallies round the ear oyl for c0cking about.
