    Thought we managed it really well today, no stupid fouls near our own box, sensible thrown ins and just generally ran the clock down without the traditional nailbiting.

    Think the time wasting backfired on em. Expected at least 6 mins. Only thing ref gave in our favour. Funny watching their last subbed player sprinting off and goalie taking a goal kick 5 seconds afore it went out :)

    Yeah that was the best bit of the game I never saw the goalie move as fast as he did for the last 5 mins. At nil nil he was just taking the piss how he wasn't booked I'll never know.

    ? Surely the last 5 minutes by definition is the last 5 minutes, be it one minute of normal time and 4 mins injury time or whatever:cool:

    TBH we have seen out the last few minutes with a one goal lead fantastically well in each of our last 3 home games. We have done this with an uncharacteristic professionalism rarely associated with us in recent years

    While you are correct, my original point was that we usually hev to hang on a helluva lot longer than 5 mins and I also probably lost the title of the thread cos am a thick fecker with the memory of a feckin goldfish.
