Seems I missed another shambles..

Starting to think my non-attendance is a factor.
I take it Mellon no longer warrants any support? Four points from nine is a better tally than I expected after the Brum defeat and Flitcroft's dismissal. Only three points from safety. Not as bleak a picture as some are painting. But then, I haven't attended, so it's easier for me. And cheaper. And I don't miss it. At all. I miss the drinking with friends pre and post match, but do I ******** miss watching some awful footballers whilst much better ones miss out no matter what.
But I've had reports from pals and it sounds like another joke performance with all too familiar failings/results.
    .
I am told - by those pals - that Ramage again was gash today. I've been telling folk he int much cop since he came. I saw him 5 times for Palace last year. He's nicknamed 'Damage' for a reason. The board should be ashamed of themselves for allowing Flitcroft to recruit the likes of him and Fox when Hassell was/is here and unable to 'earn' his reduced wage. Thoroughly ashamed.
    .
Flitcroft had the cheek to claim in his Bury conference that he developed a lot of our youngsters. Who is he referring to? Where are these youngsters? Can't see any myself. Which goes against what my club has always been about. Very rare that we've had no youths in the side. Usually bleak times when it's been the case.
We've again loaned players instead of using them. Or stuck with players whose idea of developing/improving is to wear new boots. If - for example - we haven't a young left back who can contribute as much as the current incumbent, then our youth team wants scrapping.
    .
We looked to have regained around 1,500 fans at the beginning of the season, tempted back by last seasons survival and the Summer positivity no doubt. I fear that we'll be losing them and a lot more if this club doesn't buck it's ideas up and pronto. If I was the club, I'd be worried that a supporter such as myself is actually not missing being there. Not bigging myself up by saying that or owt. But we ARE only three points from safety and we are not down by a long stretch. And we do have some good players and good people within the club. So this heralds an opportunity to make a new start with a proper strategy - outlined by the board and explained to the fanbase. And to stick with it. That strategy requires everyone knowing AND singing from the same hymn sheet. It requires people to like and respect each other. Paranoid people can **** off. Arse lickers too. As I say, some great people at the club, build from that base.
Or, we carry on with the short term attitude that has plagued us for years. And I carry on not missing it.
    .
See, I must care enough to be typing all this ********. You reds etc. And sorry for not being a reight fan which may invalidate my ability to have an opinion. Work at 6am tomorrow. **** sake. And r lass is making me watch X Factor.. :D

after standing at the back door yesterday and thinking "brrrrrrrr" i actually asked the nipper if he still wanted to go, hoping he'd say no.
after the game he said he wished he'd stayed at home!
the missus was asking about going out boxing day afternoon, i think may tell her yes now because its so boring on match day now

    Good post Whitey.

However, the three points may as well be 30 because we are down with these gutless tossers.
