    Shocking catering yesterday inside Wembley.

Majority of beer and drinks poured from cans - not much draught on (apart from slowing it down, I could see bags and bags of waste cans and plastic bottles). Nothing was pre-poured despite the ability to do so.

    Food ran out quickly.

Staff hadn’t got a clue how to work tills.

Massive queues basically because of the above.

No excuse really - they have another game next weekend, so not as if the draught would have been sat wasted. Just poor.

Was ok on level 2 actually. Big long bar. Didn’t take too long to get served. Had a pie which was actually really decent (probably cost a fortune)

Another thumbs up here for Level 2. To be expected though.

I queued up the whole of half time for food and had to give up with around 30 people in front of me and made it back to my seat a few seconds before the second half. Got a burger outside instead which cost a tenner(!) but was very good.

I was going to get burger and chips but that was £15! £6 just for chips on their own. Felt for poor buggers in front of me who hadn’t seen the prices in tiny writing and one bought 2x chicken and chips and got stung £30 and the other bought 3x burger and chips and it cost £45!! They had four tenners ready and had to dig another fiver out. At least I knew what was coming at that point. It was very filling though (double bacon and cheese burger with fried onions) and in hindsight very worth buying as coach didn’t get back to Barnsley until after midnight and I didn’t get home until gone 1am.

Same here outside the red zone. Thought the bacon cheeseburger was lovely and above usual Football standards, but not a tenner. The chips were good and they gave loads, but again six quid is expensive. No condiments either. Sign of good food that three coppers queued for some.

Yes, red zone. Condiments were off to the right.

To echo above, I was on level 2 and was quite impressed with the set up and variety on offer. I didn't have the food, and the beer was from a can (a pint can to be fair) but it wasn't any more expensive than I thought it would be. The hotdogs looked very cheap though considering the price. They didn't look appetising in the slightest.

It was overpriced everywhere. In Cristal bar people were paying a fiver for a can of Carling, 2 quid for a can of pop, 7 for a double spirit and 6 for a small wine.

Pricing inside and outside of the stadium is beyond a joke, but if you can stomach the prices, Level 2 at Wembley is pretty good for everything. Loads of options, pre-poured beers, very small queues, toilets everywhere... after about 5 minutes of half time everyone who wanted a beer had got one and they still had loads pre-poured waiting. There are pop up bars too with craft beers and various food options. Of course, you pay for the service and tickets there are small fortune. In the lower tier, the queues are absolutely ridiculous. It is virtually impossible to get a drink/food/toilet break in during half time. The service is poor, staff don't appear neither trained fully nor interested, it's a frustrating experience.

We parked near Croxley station and went back there to The Red House pub after the game and had Beef and ale pie and chips £14.99 for 2 with a pint of Abbot for me and Lime and soda for Anne, £21 the lot and very nice too.

We had a coffee in Costa on Wembley Way before the game but otherwise just had water (for nowt) in the stadium :)
