Well firstly who did Steele not make an attempt to tip the ball over the bar. He's done this a few times recently. First goal, scary. First of all how slow did M'Voto look. Second why wasn't hunt on the cover, thirdly I don't think the shot was that well placed and I would have fancied there goalkeeper to save it. second Goal. Embarrassed on the counter attack. Have Barnsley really let a pacey player go one on one with M'Voto? crazy and I would like to know how many players Drinkwater passed to score that goal. Third goal, out defence not on the cover. No pressure on the ball from Midfield and not covering at the back. Madness.
So, in your insightful opinion; we lost 3-0 because of Luke Steele? I thought we lost 3-0 because we are crap and they are much better than us. But hey ho...
For all your posts about how many matches you get to, I am starting to wonder. Last 3 games you have only commented once seeing them back on TV. At your Grans. What did you think about your observations in real-time ? At any of the previous 3 matches at home ? Out of interest, like. My observations about the last few days are that the comments have been, on the whole, pretty much over the top. When I logged off on Friday night, if somebody had offered me money on taking three points from those two games, with a 1-3 aggregate, I'd have taken it. Of course Leicester gave us a good going over but I'd take 0-3 from that lot over 0-6 against Charlton any day of the week. They are in a different league, and soon will be. It's obvious we have a squad that is not really up to the pace of other teams, but as I stated at the start of the season I am going to back them, and at least try hope that we do slightly more than 3 other teams and survive again.
You've finally been sussed out, Phil. The usual folk aren't even responding, never mind biting. I can see you getting frustrated by this, and then posting something really bad, and a permanent ban on the horizon. Think on.
Sometimes I wonder what happened to EI Addio. And I put 2+2 together and make 5. I used to defend Hemmsie (West Yorks together 'n all that) but Lordy Lordy he sets himself up for some ****.
I'm just posting what I've seen. To be honest Whitey if I post after the game on Saturday especially on my way back up I hope for there not to be too many post to me because I honestly don't think a lot of the board members will be down in Hertfordshire. Remember once when coming back up I put a few things about a game and people had the axes out. 90% of them hadn't been to the game.
What happened too the 4ft tall Latvian keeper you thought woz sooooooooooooooo great.?...Tell me please..
Dunno what you're on about, pal. Unless you've replied to the wrong person..? I've seen us at Vicarage Road twice. Once in the early nineties, and last time when we stayed down there after Wembley and Odejayi showed he knew where the net was, a few days late. From your post (and many others you've made of a similar nature) I'm guessing you're trying to make out you're a better supporter because you're going to Watford? Shame if that's the case. Personally, it's not possible for me to get to Watford for 3pm. I'll be working from 5.45am until 2pm that day. I work alternate weekends now. It means I'm able to get to midweek matches at Oakwell now I'm not on nights, and my alternate weekend 'off' is conveniently landing on the weekends we're at home (Bournemouth for example, my next trip over). But aye, it's not possible for me to make any game, when I've work on Saturdays. And, even if I wasn't working, a trip to Watford wouldn't be high on my list of things to do. I've a relationship, family, friends and other hobbies that I like to spend time over. Football isn't the be all and end all for me. It never has been. But when I was younger I travelled all over supporting the club because I had few priorities back then. You'll figure all this out one day, when you grow up. But for now, I hope you enjoy it like I did. You only live once. I look forward to a detailed review of Saturdays game at Vic Road from you. Hope you bring back three points.
Funny how he's not mentioned the two 1 on 1 saves Steele made or the 1 he tipped around the post from Cockart. The one he made no attempt to tip over the bar I assume was the 1 from cockart early on that looked to be landing somewhere on Sheffield Road before it swerved and dipped
Tell me about it. I get mine via personal messages. Then I post them on the board for everyone to see and laugh at. My latest one is so class, I've made it my signature.
That's the same one that I, and others around me, stood up to take the pi55 out of until it defied the laws of Physics and suddenly changed its trajectory and hit the bar.
