This is the key to everything this summer. How quickly we can offload players to get us into a position of breakeven/solvency without requiring further capital injections. And once we have a surplus, bring in experience and maybe a tiny bit of quality to supplement the swathes of kids we'll likely be left with. The more difficult problem is getting shut of Thomas, Schmidt, Oulare, Leya Iseka and Cole. Though we might have to try and get a bit of game time out of them rather than paying them off for nothing.
Does that suprise you? And are you bothered? Apart from collins helik and morris ill gove them a lift.
They certainly know how to dramatise head lines... We are no different from any other team that gets relegated...who off load the big earners to off set reduction of revenue The likes of Styles Helik will most likely move to enhance their international status bids will no doubt come in for the likes of Woodrow Morris Collins and maybe Anderson....Time for new Hero's...
Whatever his wages, and any relegation clause reduction… someone has to be willing to pay us a fee and pay to exceed his wages with us.
Or if someone is willing to take him. Just release him and let him go. Put it down to experience and the bloke himself should realise he has to take what he can get. We would have to if we couldn't do the job we were paid to do
You are contractually liable to pay his full wages unless he submits a transfer request or agrees a compromise.
I forgot all about him, that's shameful and sad by me. I couldn't develop a image of the type of player he was,due to his illness and injury.
Yes covid is a terrible illness. But other players had it. Injuries are nasty and bad but other players have them but josh wasn't cutting it before all this happened. I am sorry our club has just been relegated and we have to sell to live and we have to keep players that can do it and get in players that can do it.to try and get us back up. If we were in the top 2 divisions with unlimited resources we could perhaps keep him and bring him on. But 3 more years at 7 grand a week is unsustainable
With benson i think theres probably a player there althought the championship was far too big of a step for him. ive heard a few rumours he has abit of a poor attitude but then again there only rumours so take them with a pinch of salt. As for olaure on 7k a week 3 years deal scary stuff.
