    agree about expense, plus I guess they have had plenty of high profile games recently so a league cup semi may seem mundane!

    The fans not turning up was matched on the pitch by the 'superstar' players not turning up. Still they're worth every penny.

    Just shows its about time the League Cup was scrapped.

    I've not watched a televised League Cup game in years

    Fans can't keep forking out big sums of cash to watch them. Man City have had a lot of big games recently so don't blame those skint for watching it on tv instead.
