    FA CUP SEMI FINAL TICKETING ARRANGEMENTS

    BARNSLEY Football Club can now confirm ticketing arrangement for our massive FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley Stadium against Cardiff City.

    The game will be played on Sunday April 6, 2008, KO 4.00pm.

    Barnsley Football Club have been allocated in excess of 30,000 tickets for this game. Tickets for the game are priced at:

    Adults - £55 / £45 / £35 / £25
    Senior Citizens (60 and over) - £45 / £35 / £25 / £15
    Juveniles (16 and under) - £45 / £35 / £25 / £15

    Tickets will initially go on sale to Season Ticket Holders Only, who will be able to purchase a maximum of FOUR TICKETS on production of Special Match Voucher B from their season ticket book.

    Tickets for this game will be sold only on the East Stand Turnstiles, which will be clearly and appropriately signed, on the following dates:

    THURSDAY MARCH 20 - SEASON TICKET HOLDERS
    Tickets will be on sale to Season Ticket Holders Only, who will be able to purchase a maximum of FOUR TICKETS on production of Special Match Voucher B from their season ticket book. The East Stand Turnstiles will be open from 8.00am to 7.00pm (more information soon).

    FRIDAY MARCH 21 - SEASON TICKET HOLDERS
    Tickets will be on sale to Season Ticket Holders Only, who will be able to purchase a maximum of FOUR TICKETS on production of Special Match Voucher B from their season ticket book. The East Stand Turnstiles will be open from 8.00am to 7.00pm (more information soon).

    SATURDAY MARCH 22 - NO WEMBLEY TICKETS ON SALE ON THIS DATE
    There will be no tickets on sale from Oakwell for our game at Wembley Stadium on this date due to our fixture with Sheffield United.

    SUNDAY MARCH 23 - SEASON TICKET HOLDERS
    Tickets will be on sale to Season Ticket Holders Only, who will be able to purchase a maximum of FOUR TICKETS on production of Special Match Voucher B from their season ticket book. The East Stand Turnstiles will be open from 9.00am to 2.00pm (more information soon).

    MONDAY MARCH 24 - OAKWELL CENTENARY SOCIETY MEMBERS AND SUPPORTERS WITH TICKET STUBS FROM OUR GAME WITH IPSWICH TOWN

    Tickets will also be on sale to Oakwell Centenary Society Members, who will be able to purchase a maximum of TWO TICKETS on production of their membership card or payment book (more news and information regarding how and where Centenary Members can purchase tickets will be released shortly). The East Stand Turnstiles will be open from 9.00am to 4.00pm (more information soon).

    Tickets will also be on sale to supporters with ticket stubs from our game with Ipswich Town (Tuesday March 11, 2008), who will be able to purchase a maximum of ONE TICKET on production of their ticket stub (more news and information regarding how and where supporters with ticket stubs from our game with Ipswich Town can purchase tickets will be released shortly). The East Stand Turnstiles will be open from 9.00am to 4.00pm (more information soon).

    Supporters must pay cash on the turnstiles. Supporters cannot pick their individual seats on the turnstiles and are only able to select the price band.

    GENERAL SALE INFORMATION
    The regulations for this game prevent any information regarding general sale being released at this time. The Football Associated have stipulated that tickets may only go on general sale should both clubs involved in the fixture have tickets remaining. More news soon.

    POSTAL APPLICATIONS
    Barnsley Football Club will accept postal applications for this game. Season Ticket Holders must send in cheques (including your card number and expiry date on the rear) or postal orders, including a £5.00 charge for return postage in addition to the cost of your tickets. Season Ticket Vouchers must also be included.
    Supporters can pay be credit or debit card but there is an additional £3.00 administration charge. Postal applications will be accepted until Friday March 21, 2008.

    TELEPHONE BOOKINGS
    The Oakwell Box Office will not be taking telephone bookings for this game.

    DISABLED SUPPORTERS
    Disabled supporters can apply in writing for tickets for this game from Monday March 17, 2008. All applications must be sent to the Oakwell Box Office.

    HOSPITALITY
    Barnsley Football Club have now received information regarding hospitality packages for this game. Contact the Marketing Department on 01226 211211 for more information and to book.

    COACH TRAVEL
    Official Reds On The Road Coaches will be making the trip to Wembley Stadium. Coaches will depart Oakwell at 9.00am on the day of the game and the fare is TBC. More News Soon.

    EARLY WEMBLEY STADIUM INFORMATION

    Please note that cars are prohibited from the areas around the stadium on matchdays. Wembley Stadium is services by public transport only. The nearest station is Wembley Park.

    Supporters can expect random searches on the turnstiles at the stadium. Supporters are prohibited from bringing rucksacks, food and drink into the stadium and these items are likely to be confiscated.

    Supporters can bring flags into Wembley Stadium but these must be a maximum of 2m x 2m and without poles.

    Bugles, drums and airhorns are prohibited inside the stadium.

    It is an offence to run onto the pitch at Wembley Stadium. Anyone caught doing so can expect to be arrested.

    Fair enough open for longer hours, and also at the turnstiles but how come only three days for season ticket holders? Take into account two of those days are Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.

    I'm assuming it'll be a seperate turnstile for each ticket category, so with the extended hours hopefully sales will run smoothly.
