    If Portsmouth..........

    qualify for the Uefa Cup through premiership position, will we be in Europe? They won't need the place and Cardiff can't have it. So even if we lose the semi final, there should be a chance we are allowed in.

    the cynical amongst us would suggest.....

    .....that it would depend on who finished 7th in the Prem. If it were a "big" club, such as Villa or Spurs for expample, I can predict some bleating from them and their over-inflated fans that they "deserve" the place more than us.

    It never happens like that as Pompey would then qualify as Cup winners and the league qualification drops down a place

    oh well, looks like....

    ....we've just got to go and win the thing then. Although if it is Pompey, and they've already qualified for the UEFA through the league, they may be a bit more blaze about the final. Just a bit of wishful thinking like!
