    Pre-season.......... goals for 16, goals against 1.
    Me, quite chipper about things.
    Me, somehow manage to cobble together 330 quid for season ticket.
    Season starts........ goals for 1 (not even scored by us), goals against 4.
    And we are playing like ***** nonentities.

    Why did I bother?

    Very similar.

    Only saving grace is that this is the first season I haven't placed a spread bet on our points total. I would have lost my house come May 2012.
