Serious question about England

    If I or any one else on this board had 'managed' England in the World Cup, would we have done any worse than under Eriksson? The answer should of course be yes as he gets paid £4million a year, but I suspect the answer is actually no. Obviously, we'd need the coaching staff the same as he had, but do you get my point? What exactly has Eriksson done to earn his money?

    Mcclaren(sp) did all the work as you saw.</p>

    we were lacking up front and its cost us...not to mention the penas....shocking..will we ever learn,,,,[​IMG]</p>

    We could all have done better.....

    we would have picked a more balanced squad for a start

    The thing that i wonder is, how much influence did Mclaren have in the squad,team and formation? If i was there i would have done things a lot differently.
