Why do they (SUFC) always have such poor support at Oakwell.
Whenever I've seen any highlights on them they look to have a reasonable away following, but year on year at Oakwell its the equivalent of teams from much further afield.
Pretty much any other local team would have brought more. Why ?(NOOO)
Seriously can't work it out, Its not that far (20 mins extra from a home game). Admittedly they have just lost 4 on the bounce, but that wouldn't account for previous years.

They're the ficklest fans ever. I remember when Adrian heath was manager late 90s, a sunny oakwell afternoon 700 Blunts bothered to turn up. You only havre to listed deedaar phone in to realise they are fickle beyond belif.
Watch Emmerdale and you'll see why The Dingles keep Pigs in cages in the front garden, we might f*ck ours sisters but at least we're not kept in cages. THEY'RE SCARED TO DEATH OF US
If they'd won 4 on the bounce instead of losing 4 they'd have brought at least 4 thousand as they's have been in the promotion race still. As their promotion bid's already over this season they bring 1700. Nothing but fickle glory hunters still living in Wednesday's shadow. Have to give Owls fans their due, I've never known them bring less than 5000 no matter what the division or how their team is playing. Utd regularly used to bring 1500 or so before the Premiership season, just reverting to type now.
Much I hate the dirty, unapologetic tvvats, I don't think we've much room to gloat when the crowd was 12998 for a South Yorkshire derby. That said, we've never taken 1700 to Fcukall Lane! There's always at least 3500.
